Bluetopia is Chicago’s only monthly blues dance event. Created in the fall of 2008, Bluetopia has been a mainstay of the Chicago blues dance scene and creates an inviting and inclusive space for lovers of blues dance to meet. At Bluetopia we value building our dance community. We welcome all levels of dancers, and everyone is encouraged to attend the introductory lesson that begins every event at 8pm. The lessons are taught by many of our local established and aspiring teachers as well as visiting instructors from out of town. We host live music several times a year as well as an annual Soul Night. We hope you will join us on the last Saturday of every month to meet new people, learn new things, and most importantly, dance to great music!
